I've got some good power supplies, that's no problem. I guess I was just unlucky with USB Drives, and SD cards, and USB SD adapters... I eventually found an old 16GB drive that seems to work. One nice thing is this drive has an activity light. V3.7.5 has been rebooting fine now. I did try the new 4.0.0 and it doesn't boot at all, after the blue screen setup, not even on this drive. It just boots to internal carousel.

Have you updated the PCUAE Autoboot script, it needs updating on v4.0.0...?

I just installed PCUAE on my The Vic20 and am having some issues.
The install itself all seemed to go just fine and it rebooted into the carousel etc. I then attempted to change the mode and my first attempt was vice mode, with the C128. Again this semed to work as expected, the autoboot looked like it installed ok etc, but this time when it rebooted, I was stuck on the Retro games splash screen (see attached below) with the music playing, but it did not actually boot, it just stayed on that screen. I left it for 5-10 minutes just in case but no change, I then unplugged it, left it a while and tried again, same result. If I remove the USB drive, it boots just fine into carousel.
Any ideas??

I just tried PCUAE on THEC64 NTSC and THEC64 and its loads VICE Mode and C128 Mode OK, only problem is when you Quick restart VICE Mode then it loads VICE Mode but does not show C128 on the screen you get a black screen so have to restart the machine for it to load C128 Mode, I need to fix that.
I just released a update PCUAE v4.0.0-1.

Is getting stuck on the retro games boot screen a known issue?

I installed 4.0.0 again to make sure I installed the autoboot and it still did not boot after reboot. Also This stops 3.7.5 USB from booting. When internal carousel boots with any dive plugged it, that dive is also unreadable if you select it.

I fixed it... Scripts were clashing so killed tee to quicky and then tried to load the carousel but it thought it was a argent(THEC64 Mini) so remove disp device that THEC64 needs to run the carousel so then the carousel for THEC64 could not load so end up having a blank screen or just the logo on the screen.
