unfortunately I lost some grease on the C64 Mini while updating the firmware, only a black image appears ... I don't know exactly what happened... is the Maxi firmware not compatible with the Mini ? Maybe I have copied the wrong firmware to the USB stick. I still have nandb backup. ch get another root access , but I can't get any further thx for Help Franky Attachments:

What happens if from the root prompt you start 'the64' (or 'thec64', I can't quite remember) manually? Does it give any error messages?
You can try to restore your nandb backup by doing a 'dd if=FILENAMEOFYOURNANDBBACKUP of=/dev/nandb'

can you explain me how to get the nandb-backup from the usb-stick on the C64 ? Copy command Normally, assuming the USB drive is /dev/sda1: Interrupt u-boot by holding 's'. In the u-boot prompt type: setenv console ttyS0,115200 ramfs
bootYou will end up at a root shell running from the kernels ramdisk. Then load the nand driver and copy the backup back into /dev/nandb: insmod /lib/modules/3.4.39/nand.ko
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
dd if=/mnt/nandb of=/dev/nandb
sync
umount /mntThen power off/on again. If you have any errors please copy/paste them as text in a 'code' box, not as a picture attachment. |
