Hi ! I am new here... I am wondering why some games won't load in my new THEC64 Maxi... The game I tried to load was "Heart of Africa" and it works perfectly on the CSS Emulator on a PC. But THEC64 won't start it. UPDATE: I simply used a .cjm file which uses the acuarte disc behaviour... now the game loads... (So I guess I just had to read the f$!ing manual...) If you too have the problem with a game. Try to disable the fastloader. And then use a Texteditor to make a cjm file... Mine had this attributes in it: X:64,pal,accuratedisk,driveicon The .cjm file needs to have the same name as the disk you want to start... in my case the disk was named ha1.d64 - so I named the .cjm file ha1.cjm What that does is it first sets the model to a PAL 64, uses the more accurate disk loader and you will see a driveicon on the top right so you see the disc is working/loading...
May this help others....
Cheers TweakerRay
Thanks for your help.

Have you tried the accurate disk option in the filename, like "heartofafrica_AD.d64" ?
