I do, it's coming in the next version of PCUAE 1.5.0, it's called Linux Mode.
You have now 3 modes in PCUAE 1.5.0 now...
PCUAE Mode - with TheCarousel and File Loader/Classic Mode and that.
VICE Mode - where it boots in to VICE and you can switch between emulators using a key combo on the keyboard - CTRL+1 to 7, there are 7 emulators to choose from, so if you load up say the C64 Emulator and want to load the Plus/4 Emulator then you just press CTRL+4 on the keyboard and it will close the C64 Emulator and load up Plus/4 Emulator, there is no need to close VICE at all, you just switch between them with the VICE Mode Emulator Combo Keys on the keyboard.
Linux Mode - where it boot up from startup THEC64 X-Windows Mod and if you backup your nand in it, it will copy it to `Backup-and-Fake-Update-Store`folder in Carousel_Games folder now, but it will not be included with PCUAE 1.5.0, it would make its download over 2gb in size so too big to install on a small size USB stick and it would made it to big for PCUAE Main setup so made into a pack you can add to PCUAE 1.5.0 instead, so if you want it you can add it as a pack, you can just install it to your USB Stick that has PCUAE 1.5.0 on, you could call it PCUAE - Linux Mode DLC Pack...
.. mmm thats not a bad name...
You can pick which mode you want to boot up from startup from the PCUAE Option Menu.
There are a lot of changes to PCUAE coming, thats why its at 1.5.0 now..
I do not have a release date yet but hopefully in the next month sometime, once everything is fixed and finished then I will know kind off when it will be released and what date, so it coming very soon...
